SunGas Renewables Inc. announced the formation of Beaver Lake Renewable Energy, LLC (BLRE), which will construct a new green methanol production facility in Central Louisiana. The BLRE project is SunGas Renewable’s first facility to produce green methanol for Maersk.

Cresta Funds Management (Cresta) has chosen Topsoe’s HydroFlex solution for revamping the Braya Renewable Fuels refinery (Braya) in Newfoundland, Canada. The refinery will produce up to 18,000 barrels per day of Renewable Diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) initially; the capacity will increase further in various stages of expansion.

HF Sinclair selected Topsoe as a technology provider for the production of renewable fuels at three facilities: Sinclair, Wyoming; Cheyenne, Wyoming; and Artesia, New Mexico. All three facilities have now successfully been put into operation and deliver renewable diesel into the United States transportation market.

Marathon Petroleum Corporation selected Topsoe as the technology provider for renewable fuels production at the Martinez Renewable Fuels Facility in California. The facility, part of Marathon’s 50/50 joint venture with Neste, utilizes Topsoe’s HydroFlex technology to convert bio-feedstock into renewable diesel.
