Compact pilot plant for solar to liquid fuels production

Partners from Germany and Finland in the SOLETAIR project are building a compact pilot plant for the production of gasoline, diesel and kerosene from solar energy, regenerative hydrogen and carbon dioxide. A direct air capture unit developed by the Technical Research Center of Finland (VTT) extracts carbon dioxide from air.

Neste Oil to invest €65M to enhance high-octane gasoline production at Porvoo

Technip awarded €5M FEED contract for Ajos BtL biomass-to-liquids plant in Finland

Forest BtL Oy, owned by Vapo, A Finnish bioenergy, peat and sawmill company, awarded Technip a contract, worth approximately €5 million, for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) of a new biomass-to-liquid (BTL) plant to be built on Ajos island, Finland. Principal off-takers are expected to be diesel and gasoline retailers.
