To reduce natural resource usage and its trucks’ environmental impact, Renault Trucks (part of the Volvo Group) is taking steps to transition its industrial operations to a circular-economy approach. These used spare parts will then be sent to the nearby Renault Trucks spare parts store, just like new spare parts.

Using technology from the 2016 Chevrolet Volt propulsion system ( earlier post ), Malibu Hybrid will offer an estimated combined fuel economy rating exceeding 45 mpg (5.22 EGHR improves engine warm up and assures consistent fuel economy performance in cold weather. It is due in Chevrolet dealer showrooms in spring 2016.

The expansion of this agreement will see SNAM collect Lithium-ion and Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries from across Honda’s dealer network and Authorized Treatment Facilities (ATF) in 22 countries, before analyzing how suitable they are for recycling and processing them accordingly.

The 2015 Civic Natural Gas goes on sale at Honda dealers in 37 states beginning on 19 November with an MSRP starting at $26,740. A 20 kW Li-ion battery stores recuperated energy.
