The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed standards to reduce harmful air pollution from oil and gas drilling operations. EPA is under a consent decree requiring the agency to sign a proposal by 28 July 2011 and take final action by 28 Feb. Details on the hearings will be announced soon.

Daimler Trucks North America unveiled its new “Detroit” brand at the American Trucking Association Management Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, Texas. These include the state-of-the-art DD13, DD15, and DD16 diesel engines, which comply with the current EPA 2010 emissions standards in the US.
