Due to Volvo's Accident Ahead Alert service requiring the vehicle to communicate with a national traffic management hub, it’s presently only available in Denmark. This is in tandem with allowing connected Volvo products to communicate information with each other. Volvo hasn’t officially called this a pilot program.

Princess Elisabeth Island will be an electricity grid at sea that will connect offshore wind farms to the Belgian mainland and also serve as a hub for future interconnectors with the UK and Denmark. Princess Elisabeth Island is expected to be fully connected to all wind farms and the mainland by 2030.

In connection with the event, associations connected with GEVA plan to organize events in their own countries and to organize a rally in Scotland to promote electromobility as an essential element in addressing climate change. An additional 12 new markets for Polestar 1 have been added and will open for pre-orders simultaneously, including Switzerland, the UK, Belgium, Finland, France, Poland, Austria, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Portugal and Canada. Customers will also be able to purchase the Polestar 1 outright if desired.
