Volkswagen to introduce battery-electric compact SUV in US in 2020; based on I.D. CROZZ

Volkswagen Group of America announced it will introduce a new battery-electric compact SUV in the US in 2020. The modular electric platform (MEB) the three vehicles share will underpin all future Volkswagen-branded EVs. The I.D.CROZZ combines an 83 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a pair of electric motors, one on each axle.
