California agencies release report charting path to 100% clean electricity; need to triple grid capacity by 2045

By comparison over the last decade, the state has built on average 1 GW of utility solar and 300 megawatts (MW) of wind per year. About 36% of that comes from renewable sources, predominantly wind and solar. On average, the state may need to build up to 6 gigawatts (GW) of new renewable and storage resources annually.

Audi aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 30% over the vehicle lifecycle by 2025

Since the end of 2018, the company has been conducting CO 2 workshops together with its suppliers to agree on effective measures. This year, the largest European solar-roof system with a peak output of 12 megawatts will be built on the roofs of Audi Hungaria’s two logistics centers, covering an area of approximately 160,000 square meters.

California ARB releases proposed new plan to cut 2030 GHG by 40% v. 1990; more stringent LCFS, more ZEVs

Assembly Bill 32, signed in 2006, set California’s initial goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020 and directed CARB to develop a climate change scoping plan—to be updated every five years—detailing specific measures needed to reach the target.
