People might be bored reading about the Prius but a review on four Priuses (2004, 2005, two 2006s) that my family owns that ran a total of 913k km (570k miles) should be interesting, right? We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. This criteria only left the Prius in play.

In May 2008, Toyota saw its Prius hybrid car turn it towards profitability in America and it scrapped plans to build a sport utility truck plant in Tupelo, Mississippi and chose to build a Prius plant there instead. Yet when gas prices tumbled later that year, plans for the Prius plant were shelved.

They use cheap, clean, and domestic electricity for short trips and daily commutes, displacing or eliminating oil consumption and CO2 pollution. What changes do we make to convert a gasoline-only hybrid to a Plug-In Hybrid? charger is also required, though ideally the existing motor controllers might be used as grid chargers.
