Well, not all of our planet: IoT does not connect us to seas and oceans. Today, the startup employs a staff of 50 people with offices located in Italy, U.K., and Norway.

The operational tests took place in seven test sites in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. The Road Works Warning-System warns drivers at an early stage when approaching a road works area, e.g. road building, maintenance, mowing. In total, more than 200 vehicles drove more than 1.5 Road Works Warning (RWW).

In Milan, Italy, FCA presented the all-new, third-generation Fiat 500—which is a battery-electric vehicle. To optimize charging time, the New 500 is equipped with an 85 kW fast charger system; it takes only 5 minutes to build up a sufficient energy reserve to travel 50 kilometers—more than is needed for average daily use.

HAC is also focused on building a sustainable development community within and beyond IEEE. HAC’s IEEE SIGHT program, which helps connect IEEE members with underserved communities and local organizations for work on sustainable development projects, now has almost 25,000 members. It also provides training on how to go about doing that.
