BMW to produce next-gen e-drives at Steyr engine plant; more than 600k units per year

BMW investing €400M in new vehicle assembly at Munich plant as part of shift to electromobility; engine production being concentrated at Steyr and Hams Hall

BMW orders two more ENGEL moulding machines for body shell components for i3 EV

BMW has awarded ENGEL Austria another contract to supply system solutions to BMW’s Leipzig factory, where ENGEL duo injection moulding machines are used to manufacture car body shell components for the BMW i3 electric vehicle.
