Pre-series-production eActros 300 Tractor drives 3,000 km from Germany to Turkey for testing

The eActros 300 Tractor for distribution haulage has covered around 3,000 kilometers from the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant to Aksaray in Turkey, where the road endurance and reliability testing of the electric truck will be taking place. Test engineers chose a route across Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria for the trip.

Volta trucks to enter US market with Class 7 electric truck in LA by end of next year

The introduction of Volta Trucks’ 100% battery electric commercial vehicles into North America will be led in 2023 by a Volta Zero Class 7 truck which is equivalent to the existing European 16-ton truck, with a dry or refrigerated cargo box. Alternatively, one hour of 19 kW AC standard charging will add around 12 miles of driving range.
