Half of plug-in vehicles in the US in 2019 were mid-size cars

Half of all plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) on the road in the US in 2019 were mid-size cars. However, PEVs are available in size classes ranging from two-seaters to minivans. Standard sport utility vehicles (SUVs) accounted for 9% while small SUVs were another 2%.

SAIC-GM-Wuling completes expansion of Qingdao mini-commercial vehicle facility; 70% increase in capacity

SAIC-GM-Wuling is China’s first vehicle manufacturer to reach 1M units in sales in 2011

On October 14, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) became the first vehicle manufacturer in China to sell 1 million units in the domestic market this year. on an annual basis, taking its share of the mini-vehicle segment to 46%. In 2010, SGMW had record domestic sales of 1,226,860 vehicles. It is based in Liuzhou, Guangxi.

Chrysler Disbands ENVI Electric Vehicle Group; Function Absorbed into Traditional Line Organization

Dongfeng Motor to Begin Exporting Vehicles to S. Korea
