2010 NO x emissions (all sectors) and ceilings for 12 EU countries exceeding their limits. The accompanying report from the European Environment Agency (EEA) confirms an initial assessment published earlier this year, showing 12 EU Member States exceeded limits under the National Emissions Ceilings (NEC) Directive in 2010.

Twelve European Union Member States exceeded one or more of the emission limits set by the EU National Emission Ceilings (NEC) Directive, according to recent official data for 2010 reported to the European Environment Agency (EEA). In some instances the limits were exceeded by significant amounts. Finland exceeded its ammonia ceiling.

However, an NREL review found that elastomer properties changed when exposed to E10 versus E0, but that there was no difference in properties when comparing E15 with E10.

First, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized the Renewable Fuel Standard Program (RFS2) rule to implement the long-term renewable fuels standard of 36 billion gallons by 2022 established by Congress and also issued the targets for 2010. The EPA also set the 2010 RFS volume standard at 12.95 Sustainability – EPA and USDA.
