Recent news coverage about this suspension in production has included some inaccuracies we would like to clarify.

Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Hyundai, Mahindra, Chevrolet, BMW, and Renault are among the companies producing revolutionary electric automobiles today. Mahindra again started at the Haridwar plant in 2006 and continues to produce electric vehicles as per market demand. However, this product has yet to be commercialised.

Within the study, the DLR scientists developed a database to record all electric passenger vehicles, which they analyzed down to the component level—including series vehicles already in production, prototypes, show cars and research vehicles.
