Honda has been developing hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) technology for many years and plans to launch a new hydrogen vehicle using this technology. Honda has already launched the Honda Clarity, a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, in U.S., Japan, and Europe markets.

Honda will introduce the new 5-passenger, hydrogen-powered Clarity Fuel Cell sedan by the end of 2016, beginning with retail leasing to customers through its expanded network of 12 approved fuel cell vehicle dealerships located in select California markets. The interior uses rich materials and intuitive, streamlined controls.
