The ibeo LUX HD scans and measures simultaneously on 4 parallel layers to compensate for the rocking movements of a vehicle and for detection of slopes.

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is developing an autonomous offensive swarming capability for unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) not only to protect Navy ships, but also, for the first time, to attack hostile vessels. The Navy has extensively tested CARACaS on USVs and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) over the last eight years.
