Renesas Electronics Corporation has introduced a new all-in-one Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) view solution kit. The up to eight automotive cameras of the solution kit allow developers to collect data from the environment for sensor fusion, being a necessary step towards autonomous drive.

Additionally, Qualcomm Technologies is offering a deep-learning software development kit (SDK). It is designed to fuse data from the vehicle’s camera feed with inertial sensors and navigation data, optimized for precise positioning up to lane-level accuracy even in challenging environments such as urban canyons.

OpenXC is an open-source platform developed by Ford for research applications, and consists of a software and hardware development kit that enables access to a wide array of vehicle data that may be used as inputs to apps.
