Levels of two major air pollutants have been reduced significantly since lockdowns began in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a secondary pollutant—ground-level ozone—has increased in China, according to new research. Maybe this unintended experiment could be used to understand better the emission regulations.

BYD should be accelerating full speed on pure BEVs, but they waste half their effort looking to the past with hybrid technologies - technologies that have been shown in numerous studies to be a major source of toxic emissions, even when charged consistently. Swapping out CO2 for other toxins like ozone and nitrogen oxides is not a solution.
