Idaho National Lab and Bloom Energy produce hydrogen at record-setting efficiencies

Green Car Congress

Bloom Energy announced the initial results of its ongoing demonstration with Idaho National Laboratory (INL). —John Wagner, director, Idaho National Labs. One of the primary barriers to scalable and abundant hydrogen production is cost—up to 80% of the cost of hydrogen production through electrolysis is electricity.

Rivian Electric Trucks Have Been Driving Through Tons Of Water

CleanTechnica EVs

A couple of weeks ago, someone posted a video on YouTube of a Rivian RT1 launching a boat in Bear Lake, Idaho. Whether legit or not, though, the RT1 certainly did a fine job driving through the water and pulling a boat along with it. Some supposed the whole thing was staged. I thought it […].

Eden’s Electrical Reservoir Stimulation technology selected for $3.5M ARPA-E MINER award

Green Car Congress

Eden’s approach to stimulation utilizes high-voltage electricity as the main mechanism to increase reservoir permeability. Eden’s novel electrical reservoir stimulation technology increases directional permeability in subsurface geologic reservoirs. This allows for reduced water consumption, energy comminution, and mining tailings.
