The wait will soon be over for US customers eager to get their hands on BYD Auto’s e6 electric crossover. BYD will select a specific region in the US and target several hundred e6 cars at government agencies, utilities and even celebrities. The e6 has a reported range of more than 249 miles.

A deal to bring more than 50 electric taxis onto London’s roads has been scrapped. The capital’s second largest minicab firm, Green Tomato Cars has pulled out of a deal with Chinese firm, BYD which would have seen it operating a fleet of e6 electric crossover vehicles, as part of its taxi service.[.].
