We’re involved in this initiative to help our customers with fleet operations in Ohio take full advantage of the benefits the ARRA federal stimulus plan has to offer for the adoption of zero-emission all-electric commercial vehicles. SEV-US plans to participate in similar funding programs in California, Missouri, New York and Texas.

We’ve got big solar coming and big wind too, but those projects are not built yet and neither are the transmission lines to connect them to the grid. Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it? We cannot afford to wait for them and we don’t have to. I’m ready to start right now.

Neither of them taught me that the two were connected to each other. For example, when a historic downtown area is undergoing a revitalization, I make sure it’s widely known that EV charging stations bring more tourism to town and provide economic stimulus. My grandfather taught me many things, including respect for Mother Earth.
