Here in New York City, where we have a population density that supports a mass transit system, most of our fossil fuel use is to power our buildings. Proponents believe such a car could be easily refuelled with hydrogen and assumed it would have greater range than a pure all-electric car. Little seems developed in any wide commercial sense and certainly not to the extent of the pure electric car. It is important to realize that a fuel cell car is actually an electric car.
