Pechman for the Western District of Washington has ruled that the Washington Department of Ecology, Northwest Clean Air Agency, and Puget Sound Clean Air Agency must regulate greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) from the five oil refineries operating in Washington State. Washington SIP from regulating beyond NAAQS.

Toyota Motor Corporation Chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada predicted in remarks before the Economic Club of Washington, D.C., I personally expect a lot from this hydrogen fuel cell technology. Perhaps 15 years from now, we can meet again here in Washington and we will know exactly which system has prevailed.

Plug In America, along with the Electric Vehicle Association and the Sierra Club , joined the effort and the first National Plug In Day was held on October 16th, 2011. Attend an online or in-person event. In 2014, the day was expanded to a whole week and National Drive Electric Week was born. Watch an EV parade.

Early last February, at the Mount Washington Backcountry Ski Festival in New Hampshire, the organizers faced an increasingly common problem: Terrible snow. Up on Mount Washington, where the higher elevations usually mean colder temperatures, what had been soft, wet snow had hardened into ice when the temperature dropped in the late morning.
