Enerkem in partnerships to build waste-to-biofuels facilities in China

Canada-based waste-to-biofuels company Enerkem has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shanghai Environmental Group Co. a municipal solid waste management company and a subsidiary of Shanghai Chengtou Holding Co. The final business structure and sites are under discussions and will be announced at a later time.

China’s first LNG bunker vessel to feature integrated Wärtsilä solutions

Neste charters two new lower-emission tankers from Terntank; methanol and sails

The tankers will transport a wide variety of liquid cargoes including renewable raw materials such as waste and residue oils and fats to Neste’s refineries. These new tankers, each able to carry altogether 15,000 tons of chemicals, were ordered by Terntank, designed by Kongsberg, and will be built by CMHI Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou, China.
