People might be bored reading about the Prius but a review on four Priuses (2004, 2005, two 2006s) that my family owns that ran a total of 913k km (570k miles) should be interesting, right? We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. It was time to buy our first car.

Here in the UK we’re so downtrodden by extortionate petrol prices that the prospect of driving fuel efficient green cars carries obvious appeal. Yet when gas prices tumbled later that year, plans for the Prius plant were shelved. Does something need to be done to push petrol prices up? Leave a comment with your thoughts.

It seems bizarre that Toyota, champion of hybrids with its Prius model, would express concerns with what appears to be a natural progression from their existing technology. He went on to state that it is “not enough to build niche vehicles that only a few can afford to buy or fulfil only a small subset of customer needs.”.
