bp pulse and APCOA to build EV hubs across Europe

Under the agreement, bp pulse plans to install ultra-fast charging at APCOA car parks—Urban Hubs—in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland and the UK over the next three years to help expand its charging network in city centers and further to accelerate urban e-mobility infrastructure throughout Europe.

Volvo Cars, POC and Ericsson to demo connected car and bike helmet prototype at International CES 2015

Volvo Cars, protective gravity sports gear manufacturer POC and Ericsson will present an innovative safety technology connecting drivers and cyclists at the International CES in Las Vegas next month. The cyclist will be warned via a helmet-mounted alert light. In the US, 726 cyclists were killed in 2012, an increase in 6.5% compared to 2011.

Forget the Milano EV – Alfa Romeo changes name to something non-Italian-sounding

The ongoing tensions between Italy and Alfa Romeo’s parent company Stellantis reached a head last week when the Italian government told the automaker that naming its upcoming Alfa Romeo EV the Milano was against the law because the car will be built in Poland. A car called Milano cannot be produced in Poland.
