With the guidance having come in on the United States’ updated EV tax credit scheme, outlined in the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, we now have a pretty good idea of which electric vehicles still qualify. But it’s kind of a clunky interface so we’re just going to list them here for you.

Additionally, the EPA is proposing rules that would accelerate EV adoption by requiring automakers to limit greenhouse gas emissions. The EPA projects that at least 60% of new passenger vehicles sold in the U.S. which stimulates job and economic growth for the surrounding community for years to come.

The most striking are its 42-mile EPA-Estimated EV Mode Range; a whopping 600-mile EPA-Estimated Total Driving Range; an EPA-Estimated Hybrid Mode MPG city/highway/combined of 40/36/38; and a 94 MPGe EPA rating.

They also have to exist in tandem with (Corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards that take into account fleet-wide MPGs for automakers. From NYT : The E.P.A.
