This is accomplished by using a much larger, more powerful lithium-ion battery pack.

The first manufacturer to produce a full production hybrid, in the form of the iconic Prius, Toyota has also made significant advancements in the development of electric, hydrogen and alternative fuel vehicles. Over its whole lifecycle, from production to disposal, a Prius has a lower impact on the environment than a conventional vehicle.

Once several thousand people get the opportunity to buy the likes of Nissan’s well made EV, the demand from the early adopters’ friends and family will expand exponentially. Of course, we need millions of plug-in hybrids, too, so more power to everyone contributing to that market. . Of this I am certain.
