We’ve gotten very, very good at making things that are cheap and durable. Realistically, making everything eco-friendly isn’t practical, but making some things eco-friendly is— even for a very strict definition of eco-friendly that takes the availability of raw materials, reusability, and eventual disposal into account. Make sure your de-icing spray is always readily available so you don’t have any unwelcome surprises as winter approaches! This will help make sure you don’t run out of juice and have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road.

Many workplaces could become EV friendly on the cheap, repurposing existing 120V outlets in parking areas and expressly allowing PEV charging. Providing a conventional 120V outlet is cheap and familiar. It’s also grid-friendly. They should be encouraged. Your new plug-in car came with a plug.

This is by no means cheap, but is relatively competitive with the higher-end wake boats from companies like Nautique or Malibu (Nautique has its own electric wake boat , which starts at $312k). Pocket change, really (although, an early tricked-out “Founder’s Fleet” model with all the options and extras included will cost $322k).
