The entire auto industry has given up on investing in Hydrogen cars. Mercedes, Volkswagen, Audi who initially tried to play the H2 game, but now are totally anti-Hydrogen and are investing in battery electric cars. In a car, I would rather sit on top of safe LFP batteries than sit over explosive Hydrogen canisters.

Showed BlueZERO E-CELL PLUS series PHEV concept in December 08. Blue Concept PHEV Van with diesel or hydrogen fuel cells and rooftop photovoltaic.

The pure electric vehicles, for reserve, must carry heavy and expensive batteries—which add expense as well as weight—and must have access to high-powered recharging stations [ 1 ]. Furthermore, even the older version PHEV can recharge at a slow rate using local solar, wind, water-derived or other net zero CO 2 fuel.
