Ford said that, pending product approval, the Valencia plant could begin producing breakthrough EVs and connected vehicles later in the 2020s. The Detroit-based automaker aims to roll out seven new EVs in Europe by 2024 with an annual production capacity of 600,000 vehicles by 2026. I’d love to hear from you!

Nearly half the respondents say the greatest change in materials will be in powertrain systems, noting that advanced propulsion systems—from downsized engines to hybrid and electric vehicle systems and batteries—will drive new material requirements. The next highest response was 42% for consumer acceptance.
