The wait shouldn’t even be that long due to sustained rumors that production is supposed to commence before summer ends. Wagons haven’t been fashionable in North America since they were supplanted by the minivan in the 1980s. With production rumored to commence sometime in July, we’re likely to have some answers relatively soon.

But I’m convinced that while there are few “bad” cars that make it to production, some are quite clearly out of their element in their particular segment. Kia Carnival: To be clear, this writer isn’t criticizing the Carnival because it is a minivan, he is criticizing it because there fails to be any one standout trait.

The agency’s reasoning was that since alternative fuel vehicle production has generally been less than 0.1% of total vehicle production until very recently, the impact of excluding alternative fuel vehicles was negligible.
