Audi partnering with Climeworks on CO2 direct air capture and storage

The Swiss company Climeworks is building the world’s largest direct air capture (DAC) and storage facility for converting atmospheric CO 2 to rock in Iceland. Audi is partnering with the Zurich-based environmental start-up and promoting a future technology with the project. One quarter of that will be credited to Audi.

Graforce plasma electrolysis for efficient generation of hydrogen from industrial waste water; partnering with Audi

Berlin-based Graforce Hydro GmbH, the developer of a plasma electrolyzer—the Plasmalyzer —is applying its technology for the highly efficient generation of hydrogen from industrial waste water. Graforce’s partners include carmaker Audi and Berliner Wasserbetriebe. Nitrogen oxide emissions are also reduced by up to 60%.
