Despite previously having vowed to offer an entirely electric lineup by 2030, Aston Martin has decided to continue selling internal-combustion vehicles beyond the next decade. Speaking with Autocar , Stroll said he intends for the brand to continue offering liquid-fueled vehicles for as long as governments allow.

Honda Motor plans to participate in the FIA Formula One World Championship (F1) from the 2026 season as a power unit supplier. In pursuit of its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030, starting from the 2026 season, F1 will implement new regulations with an engine/electric motor maximum power output ratio of 50/50.

Last week at China’s Auto Shanghai motor show, Aston Martin Lagonda revealed the final production-ready iteration of its first all-electric production car, the Rapide E. This battery system powers two rear mounted electric motors producing a combined target output of just over 610PS and 950N·m of torque.

The launch customer for Hyperbat batteries is the Aston Martin Rapide E, which will be a limited production run. The facility provides a secure future supply chain for UK-based car-makers as their vehicles transition to electric power, with the potential to provide similar solutions to developing marine and aircraft projects in future.
