Shell has acquired the EV charging network Volta charge, which could massively expand the Shell Recharge network in the United States. for its line of gas stations, it is less known for its EV charging network, Shell Recharge. Currently, Shell Recharge is more commonly found in the U.K. While Shell is well known in the U.S.

Too bad for America our corporations long ago outsourced that kind of effort and heart. Several Chinese car companies are working on cheap, entry level full electric vehicles and will have them ready years before the major car companies. And the Greenius says this looks like the smart money bet to me.
