Jaguar unveiled its first all-electric production vehicle, the I-PACE. seconds along with a 480 km range (298 miles) (WLTP cycle) and 0-80% charging time of 40 minutes with a 100 kW DC fast charger. It joins Jaguar’s growing family of SUVs, alongside the all-new E-PACE and multiple award-winning F-PACE.

Porsche and the Frauscher Shipyard in Austria are developing an electric yacht—the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air—that is intended to set standards on the water with its typical Porsche E-Performance. Frauscher also currently offers a range of electric boats in addition to its conventionally powered offerings.

Two minutes from motorway junction A60/A61, it offers six 300-kW DC fast-charging stations and four 22-kW AC charging points. Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. By 2030 we want over 80% of the cars that we deliver to be all-electric.

QUANTRON has unveiled its new 12m electric bus called CIZARIS. The new bus model in the Augsburg-based company’s bus portfolio will be launched as an all-electric version (CIZARIS 12 EV), followed in 2023 by a fuel cell drive (CIZARIS 12 H) that uses a largely identical powertrain.

A partnership project between the eleven leading Austrian energy suppliers and Berlin-based Hubject GmbH ( earlier post ), which is supported by the Austrian climate and energy fund, will create a comprehensively accessible network of charging stations for drivers of electric vehicles across Austria, starting in April 2017.

Hyundai and Kia teamed up with Infineon on the hybrid powertrain design including the Infineon HybridPACK 1 power module and the related control electronics as part of the electric motor inverter. All power connections are realized with screw terminals. The HybridPACK power modules are manufactured in Warstein, Germany.
