BMW tops emobility sales charts in Germany 1H 2017

The BMW Group was the top seller of electric mobility in Germany the first half of 2017, with just under 5,000 units registered ; registrations are about 175% over the same period in 2016. In the first half of 2017 alone, around 2,100 customers opted for the compact, up 155% compared to the first half of 2016.

New electric MINI Countryman E to begin production in November in Germany

From 2017, the second-generation MINI Countryman featured the MINI Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 as the first plug-in hybrid MINI model to offer an additional 65 kW/88 hp electric motor on the rear axle. Siemens employees in Germany to get free EV charging in 2017

The electricity and the use of the charging stations will be free in 2017. This will apply not only to all-electric vehicles but also to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
