The Toyota Mirai has taken the lead in U.S. Through September, Toyota has sold 710 of its four-person Mirai sedan—though up to half of those sales came in August to employees and others connected to Toyota.

In two packages of awards, the California Energy Commission approved more than $44 million to expand the hydrogen fueling infrastructure and increase the number of alter alternative fuel vehicles on the road in the state. Fueling infrastructure must be in place to support the successful introduction of these vehicles.
