Volvo has received an order for 11 electric hybrid buses and 2 ABB automated electric bus fast-chargers to the city of Namur in Belgium with public transport authority and operator TEC. Start in-service is planned towards the end of 2016. This is the largest order to date for the company’s electric bus system.

In Germany, Tesla reduced the price of its Model Y Long Range by €5,000 to €49,990 ($54,340), a discount of 9%. BYD ATTO 3 (Source: BYD) VW has also been slashing prices on the ID line in France, Belgium, Germany, and Norway, among other countries. Belgium and Sweden will also see revised vehicles and lower prices.

At the Paris Motor Show, Renault introduced its enhanced-range ZOE electric vehicle. 40 battery, ZOE now has a range of up to 400 km (249 miles) NEDC—twice the distance of the original launch version of the ZOE. At the same, ZOE owners can benefit from a range of new connected services and equipment upgrades.
