The station wagon complements the Cruze sedan and hatchback, which together have combined sales of more than 1 million vehicles globally since launch in 2009. The new station wagon is not planned for sale in North America. New and improved engines will be available on the entire Cruze line-up starting summer 2012.

The release will be the fourth generation DC Quick Charger for the power electronics manufacturer, having launched the first model overseas in 2008 before entering North America’s EV market in March 2012. The new model will be available for sale in North America in February 2013.

Both facilities will produce the specified vehicles until June 2011, with an optional one year extension until June 2012. HUMMER is also in the process of obtaining emissions certification for a diesel H3 that will be introduced in markets outside of North America.
