From 2013-2015, Ford of Europe will increase total EcoBoost gasoline engine production by 35%. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and the government of Thailand agreed to start joint study for fleet testing of electric vehicles (EV). MMC, through its local producer and distributor Mitsubishi Motors Thailand (MMTh), will begin initiatives for future market introduction of the i-MiEV.

Hyundai Motor Company has completed development of its next-generation hydrogen fuel cell vehicle—the Tucson ix Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV)—and will begin testing next year with an eye toward 2015 mass production. Hyundai plans to make a limited supply of the Tucson ix FCEV in 2012 and begin mass production in 2015.
