I love several things about the Volt that tipped my decision to buy out the lease and keep on driving—mostly on electricity: The Lectron charger has style and speed. The Tesla adapter is a must in my neighborhood.

I think that’s fair since on a good day my 3 ½-year-old Chevrolet Volt has a 61-mile all-electric range, roughly comparable to a used Nissan Leaf or Fiat 500e. Tesla Model 3 was the top seller in the state. Sales just topped a quarter-million with Tesla’s four models accounting for more than half of the overall sales.
