Tata Motors claims that the Tigor EV comes with an ARAI-certified range of 306 kms (under standard testing conditions). At 0600 hrs, gobbled down 3 sandwiches, a cake, a brownie and some pineapple juice. We then followed Google maps on to the Nashik highway via Thane. Native Google maps does not work on the screen.

The charging port standard is also something that they can relook at. Followed Google Maps to hit Hosur road - and from then on the Maps was switched off. Compared to the Nexon’s 8 year warranty, the MG’s standard warranty is 5 years. We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty. I liked the MG gear shifter.

The US standard is 120V@60hz the UK standard is 240V@50Hz. Same goes for video cables.

With the entry-level single motor Standard Range 2 weighing in at $63,900 before on-roads, it looks fair money for a premium five door fastback.
