When Juice Americas launched its portable two-in-one EV charger , the J+ BOOSTER 2, in North America, Electrek was invited to review it. The company has expanded its payment options to Shop Pay by Shopify, Paypal, GPay by Google, and Venmo. Here’s how it went. We like to call it a portable wall charger. It’s basically a 2-in-1.

A few more J-plugs have appeared in the San Francisco Bay Area, tho I challenge you to find out where they are. And one on Google's map. The units I found quite accidentally are Free Juice Bar dual-connector units. They are not listed on the DOE funded charge station project sites. Nor on The EV Project/Ecotality's m ap.

As we try to rev up plug-in vehicle sales, what sort of charging infrastructure should we be focusing on? But the efforts to ensure charging is available to enable the takeoff of plug-in cars has become bogged down. How could we use the logic of workplace charging to buck up plug-in car sales?

Although Tesla gets the headlines (and stock price boost), Nissan and Chevrolet make the sales. Plug-in vehicle sales are indeed increasing, with the LEAF and Volt each selling about 2500 units in June 2013. Simple access to power while at work is a tremendous additional incentive for PEV sales of these lower-range cars.

We chatted up with Jayasuriya, the state head of TML for Electric Vehicle sales. We used the Zeon Fast Charger network extensively to do the journey. This will show how Electric cars can be practical and more enjoyable on a highway ride! The Udyan has a lot of stops - and I guess that is what makes the train popular. No pantry car though.

Automakers agree on common plug to recharge electric vehicles by Darren Murph , posted Apr 19th 2009 at 4:24PM Just hours after General Motors put forth a proposal for a standardized plug for electric vehicles , in flies this. And personally I like better simple solutions.

In the future, utilities will pay you to plug-in your vehicle. Millions will plug-in their electric vehicles (EV), plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV) at night when electricity is cheap, then plug-in during the day when energy is expensive and sell those extra electrons at a profit. Here we go again.or
