Motor was lost long ago. 36/48 volt. I am leaning towards a golf cart or forklift motor. This is a 24 volt system, and made for flat, hard surfaces. All the Golf cart motors I have been finding on the net are either 10 or 19 spline. Golf cart motor ? Forklift motor?

Before Tesla, they were seen as nerdy golf carts, far from usable as “real cars.”

The original CivicWithACord design used 18 8-volt golf cart batteries. After some debate on the Google Group and dealing with clutch-link interference issues, I'm tending towards 12-volt group-31 AGM batteries for the initial design. So thats disappointing. As stinky is another way of saying not healthy to breathe.
