Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with Telsa Motors to develop the electric B-Class.

Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. Not all were, of course, as there is still plenty of interest around gasoline-propelled cars, SUVs and trucks. Fiat stopped selling the Cinquecento, or 500e, in the United States (in reality California and Oregon only) in 2019.

Laredo Bus Facility Solar Canopies: Provide shade structures with integrated, grid tied photovoltaic cells to be erected on the bus storage lot at the Laredo Bus Maintenance Facility. The BZ4X will be sold throughout the world, but in America it will be first offered (April 2022) in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

The engine also uses an electrically driven air conditioning compressor and water pump to reduce mechanical losses. L/100km equivalent and 4.8 Hybrid transaxle.
