The Governors of California, Oregon and Washington and the Premier of British Columbia signed a regional agreement strategically to align policies to reduce greenhouse gases and promote clean energy. The agreement has no legal effect and imposes no legally binding obligation.

Minnesota’s state Renewable Fuel Standard now requires that diesel fuel contain a 5% blend of biodiesel, up from its previous 2% (B2) requirement. Blends of up to 5% biodiesel (B5) are legally categorized as diesel fuel, eliminating operational or warranty concerns.

The original plan was for the project to feature 244 wind turbines across 24 miles of hills, and three solar farms over 5,447 acres south of the Tri-Cities, near the Oregon border. Washington is legally committed to achieving net zero by 2045, so they’ll ultimately have to figure it out.

The Freightliner Inspiration Truck has been driving in a so-called pairing-configuration (two electronically connected trucks) on public roads in Nevada and Oregon, since 2017.

By packing batteries and an electric drive axle into a tandem trailer that fits between a conventional semi truck and trailer, Revoy EV promises to “electrify” trucking and cut a fleet’s fuel bill in half. It’s really more of a fuel product. Rust adds that Revoy has stations planned for California and Oregon as well.
