Pollution from tire wear can be 1,000 times worse than a car’s exhaust emissions, Emissions Analytics has found. Source: California Air Resources Board (ARB). Researchers from the University of Liverpool, Queen Mary University, London and Trinity College Dublin have linked exposure to diesel exhaust particles (DEPs) to susceptibility to pneumococcal disease. Many of these fatalities have been linked to exposure to high levels of airborne particulates, such as diesel exhaust particles (DEPs).
