Until the ban takes effect, New Jersey will limit the amount of new gasoline-powered cars sold in the state starting in 2027. Despite the impending ban, New Jersey will not prohibit the ownership or use of gasoline-powered cars or force consumers to buy electric cars. Consumers may still purchase used gasoline-powered vehicles.

We only drove ’normal’ ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) cars before but those gave me a feeling of always being in a hurry. The gasoline engine only runs in reversing to power the batteries. petrol engine is not running. The Atkinson cycle petrol engine was made for regular stop-starts and is very reliable.
