GM Advises Approximately 1,100 Dealers of No Long-Term Future in GM Dealer Network

GM began contacting its dealers today regarding its long term planning, and is advising approximately 1,100 “ underperforming and very small sales volume US dealers ” that GM does not see them as part of its dealer network on a long-term basis. GM announces three new recalls of ~1.55 million vehicles

As a result of new CEO Mary Barra’s request for a comprehensive internal safety review following the ignition switch recall, General Motors announced three separate recalls involving US production and sales of approximately: 303,000 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana from the 2009-2014 model years with gross vehicle weight under 10,000 pounds.
